Bell Mobility have released 5.0.0.423 for the Blackberry Bold. If you are on Bell you can just perform an Over the Air (OTA) firmware upgrade — be aware that this may take a while and burn though a lot of data, so know your data plan. For folks on other networks, you can grab the file here on blackberry.com.
Be sure to delete the vendor.xml file prior to installing this, else it won’t upgrade non-bell devices. Also, a word of warning to those on AT&T, this may be release firmware, but AT&T users have reportedly had issues with some versions of OS5 on the Bold 9000, and it is possible that this is related to some of the service books that they are sending to the device. If you are on AT&T and have issues – in particular the reboot loop, let us know.
